1. Eat an Apple- Apples are a great slow digesting carb that contain lots of great antioxidants. One group of compounds in the apple has been found to boost muscle strength, endurance, and fat loss.
2. Spice up your food- Try adding crushed red pepper, hot pepper, or pepper sauce to your meals to burn extra calories and fat. This is done through the use of the active ingredient capsaicin.
3. HIIT Training- High Intensity Interval Training is using an interval to your workouts, mainly your cardio. This involves going high intensity (80% of max heart rate) for a short period of time followed by a low intensity interval to allow your heart rate to lower and then repeat. Studies have shown that this type of training is more benefitial than a longer workout at the same lower heart rate.
